Join us in the library for a writing workshop with Peter Malone Elliott. This one-hour seminar will teach you how to harness the most powerful storytelling elements of film and television and infuse them into your novel to create a truly page-turning work of fiction, no matter its genre. Craft topics covered include (but are not limited to): Three-Act Structure, Show-Don't-Tell Storytelling, and Conflict and Tension.

Elliott is the Lefty Award-nominated novelist of Blue Ridge and the Leo Award-nominated screenwriter of Wired Shut. Other film and TV honors include winning the $25,000 Grand Prize of one of Hollywood's most prestigious screenwriting competitions and writing/executive-producing/starring in Ziggy's Will, a short film that screened at festivals across the world, including Festival de Cannes, Manchester International Film Festival, and Santa Monica International Film Festival. He is also a produced playwright and has published short fiction and essays. As a creative writing instructor, he has taught a wide spectrum of undergraduate courses and seminars for adult learners. Additionally, he is a highly accomplished developmental editor who specializes in working with debut authors.
