Retiring the 4% Rule – Modern Retirement Spending Strategies
Classes & workshops
More info
In-person
This Money School course explores why the traditional 4% withdrawal rule no longer fits today’s market, inflation, and longevity realities. Attendees will learn modern, dynamic spending frameworks — such as guardrails, risk-based spending, and floor-and-upside approaches — and how to adjust withdrawals as conditions change. The focus is on practical, evidence-based methods for creating flexible, sustainable retirement income plans.
This class is taught by Robert Jeter, Financial Advisor from Back Bay Financial Planning & Investments and an instructor with the Money School, a program of the Delaware Community Reinvestment Action Council.
