You may have seen the dye-free, wonderfully scented Tink candles in many local boutiques. The company began a year and a half ago as a hobby for Haley Martin. She explained, "The business grew once I knew people also enjoyed the candles I was making."

Tink candles are soy based, with cotton wicks, and no dyes. Haley says that she tries to keep her products and materials used as eco-friendly as possible. Haley even hand-pours each candle, and puts on each label by hand.

"When choosing the seasonal scents, I try to use scents that mean something to me," she explained. "For example, I came out with a Sweet Tobacco scent this spring, and it reminds me of sitting on the swing outside of my grandparents' house, and my grandfather first lighting his corn cob pipe (along with my grandmother yelling that he shouldn't be smoking his pipe around me). I want to take my customers to happy memories that bring a smile to their faces. I've also had people tell me personal stories about what a certain scent reminds them of, which is one of the greatest parts about making my candles."
