This unique crab themed event includes crab races, crab cooking and picking contests, crafts, live entertainment, beauty pageants, parade, fireworks and more. Known by many as "The Crab Capital of the World", Crisfield is home to many seafood restaurants and the Somers Cover Marina, one of the largest marinas on the East Coast.
To compete in the boat docking competition you must be a working waterman with a work boat. Register the morning of the event starting at 9 a.m. at Somers Cove Marina around B pier. Registration is free.
Prizes vary each year depending on sponsorship and how many participate.

The Gates will open at 10 a.m., and the contest will begin at noon.
Tickets will be $15 at the gate, no advance sales.

You're invited to join The National Hard Crab Derby for the 43rd Annual Mike Sterling 10K Race / 5K Walk / 10k Ruck to be held in Crisfield, MD during the annual National Hard Crab Derby. The race will begin and end at the Crisfield City Dock at the end of Rt. 413.
Runners and walkers will enjoy a fast, flat course that meanders thru the City of Crisfield as well as the neighborhoods and along the waterfront outskirts. Water stops will be provided at three locations along our route.
The 10k Ruck has a 20 pound weight requirement and follows the same course as the 10k run, but starts earlier so ruckers can finish when the runners finish.

Tickets will be on sale at the Crisfield Chamber of Commerce office. Seating is assigned on a first come first serve basis.
