Light up Your Night at Winterfest of Lights

Step into a winter wonderland as the 2023 Winterfest of Lights walking event returns, featuring the beloved Winterfest Express tram ride.

This festive journey includes multiple "trolley" stops strategically placed to facilitate your exploration of the enchanting 58-acre Northside Park. Embracing the spirit of growth and innovation, 2023 brings forth new displays, an updated configuration, and an enhanced Winterfest Entrance Pavilion.


Embark on a captivating walking tour through the sprawling landscape adorned with thousands of sparkling holiday lights and animated displays, all gracefully lining the paved park paths. Immerse yourself in the holiday ambiance as you sip on steaming hot chocolate, strike a pose with Santa, engage in family-friendly crafts, and peruse the delightful offerings in our gift shop. Keep an eye out for numerous photo opportunities, including interactive displays that promise to capture the magic of the season.


As you meander through the Winterfest of Lights, don't miss the grand 50-foot Christmas tree, poised to put on a dazzling show, enveloping you in the full splendor of the holiday spirit.


Join them at Northside Park, located at 200 125th Street, Ocean City, MD, 21842, and revel in the magic from Wednesday to Sunday, 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (open daily from Christmas to New Year's Eve). Admission is a mere $6 for guests aged 12 and above, while children 11 years and younger enjoy free entry. Please note that Winterfest of Lights may close in the event of inclement weather, so be sure to check the Town of Ocean City Facebook page for timely updates before planning your visit.
