The holiday season is filled with the magic of stories. What better way to face the cold than to share tales of wisdom, of longing, of humor, and of joy to bring light to the darkest time of the year?

Join us for an evening of storytelling by the Lewes Public Library Spoken Word Society’s Reader’s Theatre Troupe. Tales and poems written by Nathan Hawthorne, Sara Teasdale, Hans Christian Andersen, O. Henry, Robert Frost, and many more will provide an evening of smiles, laughter, and a few tears to ward off the winter’s blast.

Each individual attending must register to reserve a seat. Please do not sign up two people on one registration.

This program is brought to you by the library's Spoken Word Society, which celebrates the tradition and artistry of oral storytelling through lectures, performances, discussions, demonstrations, and other publicly-shared experiences. The LSWS is partially funded by the generous support of Browseabout Books and the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on DelawareScene.com.
