The Secret of Success

I have a really short little blog for everyone today. I was out of town the past few days and it sure is great to be home. So do you want to know the secret of success. Sure we all do. But I have it. I mean well I have a box that has the secret in it that I am going to share with all of you.

I have posted once before about my little wooden box that contains the secret of success that I keep on my desk. Gary always had this sitting on his desk and when I purchased the office from him he left this for me. I always get a good laugh when someone opens it and smiles and laughs. The secret of success is - Work! But it is true. If you want something work for it. And sometimes you don't have to work harder just smarter.

So many of the stories about great businesses normally come with a lot of sacrifice and work that are put in to building them. Maybe they were started in a garage or a shed. Quite possibly while they were starting their business they had to work another job. Often times all of the money coming into the business gets dumped right back into the business itself. And it can take a long time if ever before a new business owner starts reaping in the rewards.

Investing into something without a guarantee is not for everyone and many people need that safety net. For an employer providing that safety net to an employee that salary or wage they should get something back in return as well. They should get a guarantee that you are dedicated to their business and take pride in what you do. And today we all are seeing more and more that this just isn't the norm at many places.

Food for Thought

I love food! Here is another tidbit of info for ya. So I noticed a business owner that I know well make a few comments about another business owner bashing competition. I sent him a message and asked if you could clue me in just so I could keep a watch on the group to see if anything came up. He sent me several screen shots of a business owner making some negative comments on another local businesses posts. This actually just happened to me on one of my ads I was running. This is a really bad way to promote yourself and a horrible representation of your business.
