Shop Local Delmarva Group Insights

These blogs are something I never thought that I would do. I don't take it that serious but I am surprised by how many people read them. After my blog the other week I had a number of people ask me about turkey legs, and even got a message of a couple places to look for them! :) Thank you!! When I make a blog about a place that the service or food wasn't great but don't name the business I normally will have some friends message or text me guessing the business?

Well a little secret. I normally try to have an idea or something to start typing about the week before. And most of the time I change up what I am going to write about multiple times!!

Well this one got away from me. I had this idea of what I wanted to do when I was looking over some of the highlights from the week, month, etc. I noticed our posts, comments, and interactions were down slightly. However it has been trending up over the past month! So I looked over some of the most engaging post. They were all from people highlighting wonderful local businesses. OK back to these wonderful post. I was trying to type up something nice about them and then I thought why don't I just show you. Show you how leaving a nice review can reach so...so many local people!

Below you will see pics of just a few posts that really stuck out to me. If you click on the photo it will take you to the post on FB so you can see the whole thing. One was from Corleen Hurley when she told us about her ring and how Jeff at G.B. Heron made her new ring!! That post reached almost 10k people and the engagement was off the charts. Only 2457 photo views when I checked!

Another was from Christinia Goslee where she shared a wonderful post about The Mar-va Theater and Dockside! She reached over 7k with that one!

And then one of our moderators Crystal Heiser put out a super post about the Candied Yam and again over 9k people were reached. Over 2480 people engaged with the post and there were 2065 views of her photos!!

WOW that is a great deal of attention for these local businesses and is exactly what our group is for! Thank you for sharing these with us...it is awesome!
