Everything is Yellow

We are just about in my favorite time of the year. Fishing season!! LOL I am kidding it is always some type of fishing season. Seriously I really love the spring and warmer weather. We can ditch the coats, I don't feel odd wearing flip flops all the time. The days are longer, the beach, the pool, the outdoor seating at our local restaurants and of course boating and fishing!!

I would say probably one of the only things I really dislike about the warmer weather is the pollen that seems to be covering everything right now. Can you say Flonase? mean when I walk outside my eyes are itching and wow it is just clouds of yellow. I have a habit of spraying the cars off each night just rinsing the yellow all off. The other day I took my blower and put a mask on voluntarily (yes a mask) to blow off everything outside around the house. What a mess. As I sit and type this at my desk I can see cars going down the highway all kicking up clouds of yellow everywhere.

But this is just a small price to pay for all the awesome longer beautiful weather that we have in store. And I can tell how much better I feel each morning when I wake up. Over the darker colder winter I kind of get in a funk.

It's funny I actually met a couple people over the last week that really made me laugh. One was someone Erica was talking with. The guy put two and two together and was like OH. That's David. I didn't realize that was him...my gosh I wish I could eat like he does! That is impressive. Then over the weekend I had to run and grab something while we were in OC the other weekend. I got it and well you know it I got the wrong thing. So I swung back by to return it. I was waiting in line and the younger sales associate who was supposed to be on his lunch break came over to help me. I think it was the manager walked up and told him to go ahead and take his break and he told him he would take care of it. He asked me for my card to refund the money and I handed it to him. He immediately said I thought that was you. I am on your group all the time! He said where are you going or where have you been today! LOL Man, I felt bad. I said honestly we just had an amazing meal at one of our favorites in OC Tequila Mockingbird. I told him I haven't been taking as many pictures and doing that as much as I used to. I chatted with him a few more minutes about some of my other favorites and thanked him for his help. I think this nicer weather will get me back in the swing of things.
