Why would I put something on my plate that I don't like?

You know the pineapple pizza thing is the joke that just doesn't seem to end. I still get tagged just about weekly on a pineapple pizza post, picture, or joke. Most of the original members of our FB group all remember the jokes about pineapple pizza that were all light hearted and helped keep us all smiling. Or at least I was smiling over it.

I think pineapple pizza can be much like our social media accounts. I don't like Pineapple Pizza so why would I put it on my plate or have it in my refrigerator? Well that is because my misguided wife (Erica) loves it and has convinced our daughter it is good also? Gross!! So I am around people that like this disgusting combination of delicious foods and that is a reason I may happen to be around a slice of that pie. But you wouldn't catch me with it on my plate or ordering it out somewhere because I don't associate with pineapples on the pizza pie!

Look at Your Social Media Accounts

Look at all the pineapples all over my pizza!! The other morning as I was sipping on my first cup of delicious coffee I was scrolling along and I stopped and felt myself get a bit tense and a little mad about a post I saw. When I realized who posted it I soon realized I don't even really know this person at all and this wasn't the first time one of their post had stuck out to me. This particular person I was associated by someone else who I knew but this person wasn't anyone who provided any value to me at all. So there was really no need to keep seeing their stuff.

Thinking over the options I could snooze them, block them, unfollow, or remove them as a friend. I snooze a lot of people during the silly political season. I guess I could just ignore them...kind of like eating around the pineapples or pulling them off a piece of pizza. It just doesn't taste the same. Much like my morning scroll with my cup of coffee on social media. I am just not going to eat pineapple pizza if I don't like it. So with the simple tap of a button that person was just unfriended and well I have felt much better not seeing them show up in my timeline.
