How to Deal with Pain and Inflammation

If you’re experiencing regular pain, CBD may be able to dramatically change your life.

Pain and inflammation can be one of the most debilitating things to experience. No matter what type of pain you feel, it can affect your daily life. Pain and inflammation steal your joy—they steal time that you could spend with friends and family. They steal your ability to do recreational activities you enjoy.

Maybe you want to be able to play ball with your grandkids again. Maybe you want to return to skiing in the winter. Or maybe you just want to be able to sit down for a meal with your best friends without your back aching.

Whatever your pain, Community Farmacy is confident they can help.

Over the years, we have seen so many people aided by CBD. With their pain gone, they can return to the lives they once enjoyed.

Pain can affect people regardless of age, gender, economic status, or background—but the good news is that CBD can help everyone.

To understand how to reduce pain and inflammation, we have to understand what it is.

Pain and inflammation are signals caused by problems in your body. That’s why it is important not to simply reduce your pain without getting rid of the root cause.

Sometimes your body will produce inflammation to wall off a foreign object in your body. When that immune system goes into overdrive, it’s a natural response to a cut, or a bruise, or a foreign bacteria. That’s a natural response. But other times, the body remains inflamed because it is out of homeostasis.

Our goal is to get the body back into balance so the pain goes away.

We highly recommend working on diet and exercise to see if you can reduce the root cause of your symptoms. At Community Farmacy, they coach people on their diet to see if they can reduce their inflammation. Gluten and sugar are the biggest culprits—they are extremely inflammatory. Often, reducing or eliminating these from the diet can make a huge difference.

Sometimes the body’s endocannabinoid system is out of balance—resulting in pain and inflammation. If you’re experiencing pain or inflammation, CBD can help.

CBD helps ease the start of inflammation by lowering cytokine levels. Cytokines are the molecules responsible for beginning the process of inflammation. CBD lowers cytokine levels, which reduces inflammation at its root cause.

For maximum results, combine regular CBD with raw CBD. Raw CBD inhibits an eicosanoid enzyme called COX2, which helps to reduce inflammatory signals to the brain. Advil and aspirin work on these same principles, but they are less natural. (CV Sciences produces an excellent raw product that works synergistically with regular CBD.)

Everyone’s body is different, and depending on the type of pain, it will take time to begin working.

It takes time to get the immune system back to homeostasis.

For joint pain, relief can take 2-6 weeks. For back pain, it can take 4-8 weeks. Autoimmune diseases can take up to 3 months. The important thing is not to get discouraged if you don’t experience healing right away.

The products we recommend to reduce pain and inflammation are CBD Gold Drops High Potency, and Baywater Farms 1000mg. These are great higher doses that can give relief relatively quickly. Ask about our Dosing Chart —it will help you to understand how to get to the dose you need.

If you are looking to reduce your pain and inflammation, and would like some personalized help? Call Community Farmacy, and they’ll work with you to help you get your life back.
