Celebrate the winter holidays in Downtown Salisbury at this year's Holiday Lights celebration this Saturday, December 2nd, from 4:00pm-6:30 p.m.
There is so much going on this Saturday they've separated it from the traditional 3rd Friday tree lighting.
Experience a winter wonderland with the lighting of the tree, menorah and kinara, live entertainment, gingerbread house making, a holiday market, Santa Claus and the Grinch, the Jolly Trolley, and more!
Plus, it's free to attend!
Of course, attendees can see the tree being lit at this event, but the holidays will be celebrated in other ways, too.
Activities will all be held in Downtown Salisbury, in the area of the Salisbury Headquarters building, located at 115 S. Division St.
You just CAN'T miss the tree lighting. It's the perfect way to celebrate the season.
Kids will enjoy paying Santa and the Grinch a visit, plus it might bring back some nostalgic Christmas memories for the adults.
Gingerbread house decorating is a holiday staple!
Don't miss the live performances by Feet of Fire Dance Academy!
The Jolly Trolley is just as bright and fun as it sounds! Use the trolley to help you get from place to place without walking as much.
Who doesn't love trains? The Holiday Express will be a great experience for the kids and parents will delight in making memories that will last forever.
Downtown Salisbury will come alive with many different vendors and people this Saturday. So, if you haven't finished your Christmas shopping, this Saturday will be a great time to "wrap" it all up!
Enjoy live music by Bay Brass, SU's Squawkappella, and The Salisbury School Choir.
With snow on the forecast, we can all appreciate a free cup of cocoa to warm up.
See where everything will be located with this handy map. Parking is located steps away in the parking garage and nearby parking lots.
We're looking forward to seeing you Saturday to celebrate!
See you there!
