DESCRIPTION:In-person\nTopical Seminars is a monthly series of seminars bas
 ed upon essays whose topics include philosophy\, the arts and literature\,
  science\, politics\, economics\, communications\, and much more. Particip
 ants are asked to read an essay chosen by the facilitation team and then s
 ubmit a written response in advance of each session. The group then meets 
 for a lively discussion on the posted piece and the participants’ respon
 ses to it.\nEssays are available for reading at our website a month in adv
 ance. Responses are due no later than the day before each meeting and are 
 also posted on the website. For more information\, contact David White\, f
 acilitation team member.\nThis month we will discuss unidentified anomalou
 s phenomenon (UAPs). Starting with the famous Roswell incident in 1947\, t
 here seems to be a growing body of “evidence” that beings from unknown
  planets are present on our planet. A recent documentary entitled Age of D
 iscovery along with a book by Lewis Elizondo Imminent claim a massive gove
 rnment cover up. In response\, the Trump administration agreed to release 
 all materials held by the defense Department on this subject. This seminar
  will explore the science and psychological and sociological issues the po
