 -03/
DESCRIPTION:In-Person or Online\nJoin Spanish speakers 18 to improve your
Spanish-speaking skills. Basic Spanish conversational ability is required.
\nNOTE: this is not a traditional class — there is no Spanish teacher. I
nstead\, it is a group of people who already speak some Spanish\, or who h
ave studied some Spanish\, or who are now taking some classes elsewhere. M
embers include retirees\, college students\, and others who have a range o
f Spanish speaking abilities. Members of the group make suggestions as to
what we might do in future classes. There is usually a ‘homework’ assi
gnment preparing each person to talk in Spanish for 2 to 3 minutes to the
group. There are icebreakers\, games\, and invited guests who speak on var
ious topics. Each week is different. Nearly all of the discussions are in
Spanish. The group is very informal\, friendly\, and there is no pressure
to participate.\nNOTE: this session is available to attend in-person or th
rough Zoom. You MUST REGISTER and indicate which you prefer. \nIf you need
assistance with registration or getting your Zoom invitation\, please ema
il the library.\nBasic written instructions for using Zoom may be found he
re and a brief video tutorial may be found here. Closed captioning is avai
lable for all our sessions. Information on enabling closed captioning in Z
 oom may be found here.\n\nhttps://shoplocaldelmarva.com/events/spanish-con
