DESCRIPTION:In-person\nJoin us for a public program hosted by the Division 
 of Substance Abuse and Mental Health\, focused on the proper use and admin
 istration of NARCAN (Naloxone).\nWhat is Narcan?\nNarcan (Naloxone) is a m
 edication that is effective in reversing the effects of an opioid overdose
  in an individual.\nLearning Objectives:\n	Recognize and effectively respo
 nd to an opioid overdose\n	What Naloxone is\, how to store it & to adminis
 ter\n	Relevant laws and legislation around Naloxone\, including the statew
 ide standing order\nTraining:\nClassroom-style. This is the most informati
 ve training for any member of the public offering an in depth presentation
  to a small group in 30-45 minutes with plenty of time for questions and a
 nswers.\nUpon completion of training you are eligible to receive a FREE Op
 ioid Rescue Kit.\nPOD (Point of Distribution):\nThis training is best for 
 returning trainees\, or those who have used their Naloxone kit previously.
  Only requires a few minutes per person.\nRegistration is required. Any qu
